Kathy: Chicago I started working out with Jennifer Abrams over a year ago. At 35 years old I decided that I wanted to become a police officer. I knew I needed to get into the best shape of my life. Not only physically but mentally as well. I had heard nasty rumors about how they treated you at the police academy. Jennifer put together a diet program for me and we started working out three days a week. If it wasn't for Jennifer, the Illinois State Police Academy would have been an absolute nightmare for me. I am not sure I would have graduated. My workouts consisted of boxing, working on core strength and flexibility. I even started running. Jennifer prepared me for our 3 mile a day runs at the Academy. She not only helped me prepare physically, but all of her encouragement and positive feedback helped the mental/emotional part I would need at the academy. Being one of the oldest at the Academy, I had my doubts. There would be days I would get extremely discouraged but then I remembered how hard Jennifer and I had trained and how she encouraged me...it made me push even harder. Here I am now, over a year later and a year older, a graduate of the Illinois State Police Academy and a police officer in a small town in the northwest suburbs. Who would have thought it? Well, I'll tell you who; Jennifer Lynn Abrams. Because she truly believed in me and helped instill that belief in myself and made me a stronger, healthier (physically and mentally) woman. I am truly grateful and thankful to her. Kathy
